1.4. “Services” refers to the functionalities and features offered on the Platform, including access to farming projects, updates, and financial tracking tools.

2. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

2.1. By accessing or using the Platform, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

2.2. Additional terms may apply to specific Services. By using such Services, you agree to the applicable terms.

3. USER ACCOUNTS

3.1. Account Registration: To access certain features, you must register an account by providing accurate and complete information.

3.2. Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

3.3. Account Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion, especially in cases of misuse or violation of these Terms.

4.2. Prohibited Use: You agree not to:

• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform’s operation.
• Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code.
• Engage in data scraping, harvesting, or unauthorized data collection.
• Impersonate another person or entity.

5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

5.1. Ownership: All Content, trademarks, and other intellectual property on the Platform are owned by or licensed to Famerlio.

5.2. Limited License: You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Platform for personal purposes. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or exploit any Content without prior written permission.

6. FARM PROJECT PARTICIPATION

6.1. Participation in farming projects through the Platform is governed by the Crowd Farming Participation Agreement, which must be reviewed and agreed to separately.

6.2. Users acknowledge that farming projects involve inherent risks, and Famerlio does not guarantee specific outcomes or returns.

7. PAYMENTS AND FEES

7.1. Payment Processing: All payments made on the Platform are processed through secure third-party payment processors.

7.2. Refund Policy: Refunds are subject to the terms outlined in the Crowd Farming Participation Agreement or as stated on the specific project page.

7.3. Currency: All transactions are conducted in [Currency]. Any currency conversion fees are the responsibility of the User.

8. PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION

8.1. Privacy Policy: By using the Platform, you consent to the collection, use, and sharing of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

8.2. Data Security: While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security. Users are responsible for safeguarding their login credentials.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

9.1. Famerlio is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Platform.

9.2. We are not responsible for losses due to technical issues, Force Majeure events, or third-party actions.

9.3. Our total liability under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Famerlio, its affiliates, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.

11. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION

11.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of Ghana.

11.2. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall first be resolved through amicable negotiations. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to arbitration under the rules of the Ghana Arbitration Centre.

12. MODIFICATIONS TO THE PLATFORM AND TERMS

12.1. Platform Changes: We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform at any time.

12.2. Terms Updates: We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. TERMINATION

13.1. You may terminate your use of the Platform at any time by deleting your account.

13.2. Famerlio may terminate or suspend your access to the Platform for any violation of these Terms or other applicable policies.
